#BingeWorthy Shows On Netflix: Fiance Tag!

If you don't know, Kalin (my fiancé) and I were long distance for the first two and a half years we were together! I was going to school in Chicago and he was working in Georgia. So, for a while our date nights consisted of watching Netflix together. Yes, we face timed and then pressed play on our computers at the same time. It was taxing at first, but now that we live together, I sort of miss it. Anyways, on to our favorite shows to watch on Netflix that you should CHECK OUT.  1. Jessica Jones

The journey with this show started with Kalin's love for a thrashing action and my desire to see a girl beat up on bad guys. However, we went to SuperGirl for that and were disappointed with the immense amount of references to Superman, so we moved on to Jessica Jones and were EXTREMELY glad we did so! Jessica is a bad ass private investigator who struggled with domestic violence in a previous relationship. The show shows her journey through that all the while encountering other super heroes such as Luke Cage. So, if you love awesome women leads, Marvel, and criminal activity, Jessica Jones is for you. *Please don't watch this with children.*

2. Gotham

Even if you aren't a fan of Batman, go watch this! I wasn't either, but now I'm #hooked. It shows Bruce Wayne's journey to becoming Batman and focuses on how Gotham got to the place it is now. The show makes a lot of political statement on crooked police policies, pride, money, and gang life. It has some gnarly stage combat with an even amount of necessary romance for those of us with easily pull-able heart strings. Many of the villains you see in the show are pulled directly from the comics and even add a modern twists to a few of them.

3. Quanitco

To be honest this should be the first one I wrote about because WOW. Alex Parrish. FBI Trainee, is used as a prop for a terrorist act that keeps happening from the INSIDE and she's trying to crack it! AMAZING female lead (with an actual character arc, woohoo!) and some equally great co stars. This show is one I could re-watch and any one who knows me knows that my attention span can't even tolerate that, but the show is so intelligent that I'm sure something was missed. It has a huge, unforeseen twists each episode and has not failed to disappoint. The Quantico writers might be in store for a very large bag of gummy bears headed their way because I'm impressed!
